Some old pieces immediately catch the eye.
Others require a little imagination.
While treasure hunting, this antique bonbonniere (candy jar) had all the makings of a beautiful forgotten object: an elegant silhouette, delicately worked glass, that discreet charm typical of pieces that have already lived. Too beautiful to remain at the back of a cupboard, but no longer quite suited to its original use.

The idea then naturally arose: to transform it into a decorative candle.
A few dried flowers, a scented wax with soft and natural notes, a cotton wick… and the object finds a new place in the home.
💡 Tip: to add dried flowers, wait until the surface of the wax begins to set: it becomes opaque while remaining pliable.

Unlike a radical transformation, the idea is not to make the piece's soul disappear, but to extend its life in a different way. To preserve its details, its imperfections, its patina sometimes. What already made it charming then becomes what makes it unique.

A more sustainable, and also more sensitive, way to decorate your home.
In an era where everything seems mass-produced, repurposing old objects allows for the creation of more personal, more lively spaces. Interiors where every piece tells a story.
So, ready to turn your finds into treasures? ✂️
